New Beginnings

Finally, the first and without doubt the most difficult step taken for something I had been planning to do for quite some time: The decision to go ahead and do it. To lauch my own blog dedicated to cinema. First kindles of my fiery dreams.

There are lots to do, no doubt about that. And by that I don't refer merely to the painful period of getting lost among numerous possibilities regarding the appearance of the blog. No, what concerns me more is deciding on the overall concept, the content, what to include and what not to. There will be film reviews, definitely, and some other articles with broader subjects. Some top-ten lists, best-of-all-time lists, festival coverage, recommendations, occassional visits to the 'Oldies but Goldies' (or 'Outdated Antiques' if you prefer) and practically everything else that sparkles my mind later on.

I am doing my best not to realize that this is the most typical path for a blog on cinema and I'm negligently following it. I cannot bear to deal with that. Not yet. Must keep rolling for now.

It's the beginning and the ending of a movie that have the power to make us forget what we see in between. So here's my beginning. I surely hope the end is somewhere out of sight.
